Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) govern the use of gift vouchers issued by Open Asset Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Issuer”). They define the rights and obligations between customers who purchase or receive these gift vouchers (hereinafter referred to as “Customers”), the Issuer, and affiliated merchants (hereinafter referred to as “Merchants”) or other entities designated by the Issuer (collectively referred to as the “Issuer and Others”).
Article 2 (Definition of Gift Vouchers, etc.)
- In these Terms, a “Gift Voucher” refers to a certificate, regardless of its name, issued by the Issuer. This certificate indicates that a specified amount of money, goods, or services (hereinafter referred to as “Goods, etc.”) is stored electronically or that electronic information is recorded. Customers can present or use this certificate to receive Goods, etc., from the Issuer or designated affiliates.
- A “Monetary Voucher” is a type of gift voucher that indicates a specified amount of money is stored electronically or recorded as electronic information. This voucher, which can be either non-fixed (rechargeable) or fixed, serves as a prepaid electronic payment method. It allows for unlimited use within the balance during the validity period. A “Goods and Services Voucher” is a gift voucher that specifies particular goods or services that can be redeemed, indicating that specific goods or services are stored or recorded as electronic information.
Article 3 (Scope of Application)
The following gift vouchers are subject to these Terms.
- These Terms apply only to gift vouchers issued by the Issuer. However, if the Issuer provides the gift vouchers free of charge, these Terms do not apply, and this must be indicated on the voucher.
② If a gift voucher described in Article 2(1) is used to purchase another gift voucher, the terms and conditions of the purchased voucher will apply, unless stated otherwise by the Issuer.
